  - Writing Science: Essay Contests

Accurate, objective and analytic writing is a skill, and an important part of leadership development.

We therefore encourage school students to select topics for the writing of an essay.

We will in future list topics that will allow students to select themes and participate in various international essay contests.

Students who participate in the Science Based Competition Programme, may write an essay on their research topics. They may use the project report as basis for their assays.

For more information about this please navigate to  http://www.nydt.org/home.asp?pid=789

Students who wish to participate directly in the international competitions are free to do so.

However, students who wish to receive certificates of achievement from the New Frontiers Science Programme, should participate through the New Frontiers Science Based Competition Programme.

Research leads to scientific discovery. It is a fact of [scientific] life!

Without the publication of new facts the body of global scientific knowledge will not be complete.

It is our experience that many young scientists make discoveries.  But ... they do not have a forum where they can publish their discoveries, or share it with other scientists.

For this reason we have created a science journalism forum on this web site where emerging scientists can publish their work.

We invite students from all continents to contribute to Young Scientist InTernational.

We also need academics - including school teachers and other educators - as well as practicing scientists to publish their articles.
