The NYDT established the "Finatics" and "Amasjieling" programme[s] as co-curricular learning community for Consumer- and Investment Science.
The principal focus of the programme is on career path development, and is based on anticipatory profiling.
Three top priorities of this NYDT programme are to build a "bridge" between the student in the classroom, and the boardroom manager who has to identify employees with the ability and skills that will ensure a successful career in the economic sector.
The priorities are:
-
To promote better business practices by both the consumer and the provider of services and products
-
To design, develop and deliver an educational programme that will accommodate emerging business leaders and scientists in the field of economics, investment and banking services
-
To identify problem solving based research topics for emerging scientists and leaders that will allow them to contribute towards the Science that relates to the economy of the country
